Como para que vean que esto no es una recopilación de recuerdos, Protection de Massive Attack se me pegó al corazón hace un par de años, cuando gracias a la amiga Inocencia agarro Mezzanine y quedo así, lelo y tranquilito en mi rincón, castigado por orgulloso, porque lo que hace la Tracy Thorn con su voz es lo más cercano al cielo y ya sabemos lo que se escucha cuando se abran las puertas y el patrón te diga bienvenido.

Como bien saben, de todas maneras los Massive son más productores que cantantes, así que en Mezzanine cantan varios invitados. La Tracy la tengo en la retina desde su hiperpegajosobestsong "Missin'". Porque han de saber que Tracy Thorn es la cantante de Everything but the girl, y que a despecho de que no tiene un buen lejos cuando abre la boquita es como si me abrieran en canal, como a los novillos, y la sangre se escurriera por todos los costados y adiós papá.
Dato freak: a Everything but the girl le pusieron ese nombre luego de que presentaran un demo y el imbécil del productorcillo les dice que "está todo perfecto, excepto la mina". Vaya ojo del funcionario.

Otro dato freak: a los Massive Attack los fui a ver. La Inocencia todavía cree que me aburrí. Pero yo estaba con mi tonto amarillo, piola, mirando y mirando, en esas vaciladas tranquilas, y con la sinápsis a mil por hora. Fue top. Ah, y salió una mina que cantaba igualito a la Tracy. Snif.
